APEM (Association des Petits Ecoliers de Miami) was created in 2009 by a group of volunteer French-speaking parents to help children learn French. APEM is recognized by Florida Department of State and the French Foreign and European Affairs as an Educational non-profit organization.
APEM offers ‘after-school’ French classes in Miami-Dade County and Broward County. Our South Florida APEM is following the footsteps of several other US cities that already established programs, such as New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, Houston and others.
Our structured yet flexible program gives the opportunity to French native speakers and non-native speakers to learn and improve their knowledge of French language and culture.
Our teachers are accredited for their high academic standards and recognized for their ability to teach French proficiently. As parents and members of APEM’s board, we are committed to raise our students’ writing and reading skills, to nurture their imagination and to expose them to other cultures.
